The narrowest hillclimb road we know – it’s Cividale-Castelmonte! This year counting for Italian Championship (CIVM) so we could see some very fast guys that were here for the first time. Saturday’s weather was horrendous as the training runs had many rainshowers and there was water running down the track. Sunday was surprisingly dry so we could finally see some real speed. The winner this year was Simone Faggioli (Norma M20 FC) with a time of 5:59.558 followed by Cristian Merli (Osella FA30) and Federico Liber (Gloria C8P) but we must say that thanks to God above Castelmonte, Diego de Gasperi barely escaped a very serious accident! Huge moment at 2:08!
